Nicholas Kubik, MD

Dr Kubik received his bachelor’s degree in 1993 from Washington and Jefferson College and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. He completed an internship at Hamot Medical Center and an orthopaedic pediatric rotation at the Shiners Hospital for Children, where he was chief resident. Dr. Kubik was also chief resident during his orthopaedic surgery residency and completed a sports medicine fellowship at Ohio State University in 2003.

Licensed in Pennsylvania and Ohio, Dr. Kubik is a member of several professional societies including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Allegheny County Medical Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. He has published several articles and has given numerous orthopaedic presentations. Dr. Kubik received a research grant from Hamot Second Century Fund for his work on “Relaxin Levels: Effects on Club Foot Progression and Treatment.”

Dr. Kubik has received several awards and honors including: Who’s Who in Healthcare and Medicine, the Davenport Hooker Scholarship, the McGillick Scholarship, G.G. Burkley Scholarship, and the Lipsitz Scholarship.
